Challenge

Dinougas is a company dedicated to butane gas cylinder distribution.Their daily operations were fully manual:

• Drivers collected cash and recorded sales on paper.
• Cylinder counts were tracked manually.
• Cash had to be physically counted at the warehouse.
• Manual stock reconciliation per truck.
• No real-time visibility into sales or inventory.
• High administrative workload at the end of each day

This created:

• Human error risks.
• Time-consuming reconciliation processes.
• Limited financial visibility.
• Lack of operational traceability.

The challenge was to fully digitize the process without complicating the drivers’ workflow.

A tailored solution was developed on top of Odoo, leveraging its Point of Sale (POS) module and extending it to match the specific gas distribution workflow.

Once the workday ended, no additional manual reconciliation was required.
